Oldies Radio From The Twilight Zone

Comments

I thought that Neil Young created that oldies album because he was under pressure from his record company to make a rock and roll sounding album, so he created an album of the 'original' style of rock and roll. I believe that he was subsequently sued for not sounding 'Neil Youngish' and ultimately vindicated. Could this song be a musical bitch-slap?

This tune is actually at least a dozen years older than the album on which it was released. I have an mp3 of it labelled “KQED TV rehearsal 19-Feb-70,” which has the more typical, acoustic, folky “Neil Young” sound. Much like he did with “Mr. Soul” from Trans, (which was first a Buffalo Springfield song,) he reworked the feel of the music significantly to match the theme of the album.

Yesterday I was listening to oldies, I heard a song by Buffalo Springfield called Highway to the Danger Zone. I loved the song and would like to get a copy of the words and the album that it is on. Anyone out there know of this song?

Thanks, From: Eleanor
